In our weekly course series or our compact course, you will learn the basics of web development and the programming language JavaScript.
WEB BASICS I
The course is suitable for absolute beginners without previous knowledge.
We slowly get into the basics and explain how a website is built with HTML and CSS.
BASIC
We will introduce you step-by-step to the languages HTML and CSS. You will learn how website code is structured and how it is used to design your website in the browser.
STYLING
In in-depth exercises, you will get to know different styling properties and use the flexbox model to structure your website and make it "responsive".
PROJECT
We apply what we have learned directly in a course-related and joint project so that by the end of the course you will have created your own little website.
WEB BASICS II
Are you familiar with the structure of websites and can design your own pages with HTML and CSS?
In this course you will learn the programming language JavaScript and how to program dynamic websites with it.
BASIC
Building on the first part, we will deepen your knowledge of CSS and you will get to know the grid model. Then we get into the programming language JavaScript.
DYNAMIC WEBSITES
Depending on the event or feedback, we can make changes to loaded web pages with the help of JavaScript. In addition, you will learn how to use APIs and the JSON data format.
PROJECT
We apply what we have learned directly in a course-accompanying and joint project, so that at the end of the course you have created your own dynamic website.
WEB BASICS COMPACT COURSE
Our compact course teaches you the contents of Web Basics I and Web Basics II in just three days. The course takes place full-time on three consecutive days (09:00 - 16:30).
